In 2001 Cameron was selected to serve in Alpha Projects, the ultra secret unit that targeted the top echelon of the UK's criminal community. He intercepted the phones of major drug smugglers, money launderers and armed blaggers, using this intelligence to intercept huge shipments of drugs, prevent gangland killings and interdict the flow of millions of pounds of the criminals’ profits.
